The breakfast buffet is a feast for your eyes as we’ve laid out the most indulgent spread you can imagine. There’s the usual bounty of granolas, cereals, yoghurt, cold cuts, fresh fruit, jams, baked goods, and pastries. But with a dining room as splendid as ours and a panoramic sea view spread at our feet, we’ve raised our game from breakfast buffet to cornucopia.
Orange juice is freshly-squeezed from the famed citrus groves of the Argolid across the bay. There’s an array of local cheese sourced from producers in Traheia and thick slices of Propyra bread, a traditional Spetses dough. Seasonal ingredients go into a selection of savoury pies prepared for the breakfast table. Or you can give your day a sweet start with heavenly bite-sized loukoumades, light-as-air deep-fried batter drizzled in honey, or bougatsa, luscious cream filling baked between gossamer-thin sheets of phyllo pastry.
But the highlight of this morning feast is the a la carte eggs menu. Cooking eggs is an art, and we’ve perfected it. Boiled, poached, shirred, scrambled, fried, whipped into an omelet or atop a Croque Madame, our eggs go straight from henhouse to kitchen where they’re cooked to order.

There’s a Greek saying about Sunday being a short holiday—and, indeed, even when you’re on vacation, Sundays are special. Which is why we celebrate this short holiday with a amazing brunch fit for a high holiday. Feast on refined comfort food in a less formal atmosphere, but the same glorious setting in our panoramic sea view dining room. Choose popular brunch staples, from appetisers and salads to pasta and omelettes. Or opt for some of our signature brunch specials.
The chef adds a bit of fun to his creative Greek-inspired cuisine, tweaking international and local home-cooking favorites unique dishes: potato salad with tuna from Alonissos and poached egg, Greek-style mac ‘n cheese made with home-made egg noodles baked in a cream graviera cheese sauce, and peinirli, an oval-shaped open calzone with a choice of fillings like bolognese sauce with kaseri cheese topped with an egg or with scrambled eggs, graviera cheese and prosciutto from Evrytania. Just like the traditional recipes, the ingredients are locally-sourced, with many of the vegetables and herbs straight from our organic farm.
It is time to lounge at the Library Brasserie and a have a light meal with friends after the beach, with a magnificent view to the Saronic Gulf. The menu is a Greek twist on the influences from old Athenian cuisine with little tweaks that add Spetses flair like Greek salad with feta cheese, rock samphire and rusk. The selection of appetizers and entrees are prepared simply to showcase inspired pairings. The sea has a definite influence on each part of the menu like the ‘Athenian’ salad created with the catch of the day, vegetables, herbs and mayonnaise. We take the traditional octopus and kick it up a notch or two with traditional Greek pasta from Traheia, olives, salami from Lefkada and feta cheese. The philosophy is that it’s fresh, local, and flavorful.
The best desserts you ever tasted are being served up at the Library Brasserie. Seduce your sweet tooth with the aromas of an almond cream cake or something as delightfully simple as Greek yoghurt with traditional sweet preserve.
On The Verandah, twice a winner with the Greek Cuisine Award and the New Talented Chef Award for the restuarant's chef Stamatis Marmarinos, offers creative contemporary Greek cuisine infused with local gastronomic traditions and ingredients.
The sea-front dining rooms is steeped in the old-world grace with soaring ceilings and soft curve-backed chairs that complement the wrought iron balustrades on the magnificent terrace. Soft lighting adds to the understated elegance, indoors and out, as the stunning setting both competes with and complements the superb cuisine.
